The Confederation of Business Associations of Burgos (FAE) delivered at the Centro de Arte Caja de Burgos on 29 of September, the ceremony of its FAE Innovation Awards, and this year in the category of medium enterprises has distinguished the company mirandesa Mac Thermal & Process Industries, SA.
This is the sixth edition of this competition, designed to promote innovation in the “burgalés” business community, and she has attended a total of 19 projects which the jury of “FAE Foundation Caja de Burgos” (sponsor of the awards) “Tecnologico de Castilla y Leon” and “Burgos University Institute”, have highlighted us.
Mac Thermal & Process Industries is a spanish firm, founded in 1968 and with a staff of 82 people, their activity is the manufacture of goods for large companies in industrial sectors, mainly heat exchangers, columns of carbon steel, reactors, cogeneration boilers, cryogenic tanks, etc…
The innovation project for which has been awarded eco-design refers to a heat exchanger for renewable energy, with enhanced energy efficiency higher than 20% compared to conventional designs.
Andres Abad said after receiving the award that it´s a motivation to move forward both the business side as the template and managers of the company.
